Facts about sedation dentistry
It works!
It is safe!You take a small pill prior to treatment -no IV or needles.
You have little or no memory of the experience and you will not remember any sounds or smells.
You snooze for five to six hours after taking the pill.
Work requiring sixt to eight appointments can be done in one visit.
People who have difficulty getting numb, have no problem when relaxed and asleep.

Is safely used to reduce the fatigue of extended dental treatments that require long visits.

Q. Will I feel any pain?...................................... A. No, you will feel nothing.
Q. Will I be unconscious?.................................. A. No, although you are in a state of sedation.
Q. Will I be monitored?..................................... A. yes, with sophisticated vital sign monitoring equipmentand one of our team members is always with you during the entire visit.
Q. How long will I be sedated? .........................A. Depending on your needs,from two to six hours.
Q. Will someone need to accompany me? ........A. yes, you will need someone to accompany you, do to the sedative effects of the sleeping pill.

 

How does it work?

You are given a pill to take one-hour prior to your dental appointment.
Your companion will accompany you to the office. When you arrive, you will be very drowsy.
You will relax into a very comfortable chair, covered with a thick, warm, cozy blanket.
Your vital signs will be monitored. After you are comfortable, our experienced clinical team will take care of your dental needs.

When you're treatment is completed your companion will return you home to finish your relaxing sleep.
